Thank you for visiting my site - this should be your first step to unleashing the new you!! I am based in Milford, Surrey, training the majority of my clients at my home gym, but also offering mobile training at your home. I am qualified, experienced, and insured, with my aim to provide safe, effective and enjoyable sessions, one-to-one, to achieve your goals and aims.

Why have a Personal Trainer?

A. Because they get results!

Gone are the days where only stars and celebrities used a Personal Trainer. Nowadays many people are realising the benefits of working with their own trainer. There are many different reasons why clients who have worked with me chose to do so. Some of these include:

  • Health and Fitness results / Weightloss. Many people attend or have attended a gym, but either get disappointed or leave, because of a lack of results through various reasons. When joining a gym, you are asked a few basic questions, given a brief induction, and then you're left on your own, to struggle through workouts towards your fitness goals. Most gyms are only interested in membership numbers and getting you through the door! However, with a Personal Trainer, you have a fully qualified professional, who understands the way the body works, and will prove that changes can be made. You have someone by your side, taking you through your workout, pushing and motivating where needed, to ensure that each workout is as productive as possible, whilst enjoyable! Many people stuggle with fat loss due to again, ineffective exercises, or programs, but also to a lack of knowledge or realisation regarding their daily calorie consumption. I wont have you on 'fad' diets, or get you to eat foods you can only buy from 1 shop in Surrey! We will address your daily needs and give you simple yet effective plans incorporating readily available foods, which in turn with the exerices will get you losing those inches! Whether your goal is sustained weight loss, toning, increased muscle mass, general health and fitness or a GP Health related condition, I can help you get results!
  • Postural Awareness/Correction. How many people do you know, possibly even yourself, that have had a niggle, or a shooting pain somewhere in your back, or maybe your arm or leg? Rather than putting it down to just a 'bad back', or 'an occasional pain in my leg', have you ever thought this could be down to your posture, or a muscle imbalance? When a particular set of muscles become tight or short (possibly through sitting down at a desk most of the day?!) they will have an effect on the body and it's alignment, either causing pain or discomfort, and certainly impairing performance. By correcting this imbalance you will have a better sense of wellbeing, will perform daily tasks easier, and your results will be quicker and more improved because your body is working as it should do. I am qualified in Postural assessment and correction, and will quickly assess any imbalances you may have. We will work on correcting these faults, creating a strong, lean, and fully functional body.
  • Varied sessions. Many people work with incorrect or ineffective programmes and exercises, that are often carried out incorrectly or more likely, unsafely. Workouts with Mark are created specifically for you, and are monitored and changed as your body adapts. Too many people use the same old exercises or 'machines' at the gym and results are more in hope than assured!
  • Increased levels of energy. Through the release of chemicals in the body, (both during and after exercise) you will increase your 'get up and go' energy levels, and elevate your feeling of general wellbeing. After just a couple of sessions you will notice more energy, your senses will be more alert, and you will be starting to realise the many benefits of effective PT sessions, combined with a sensible diet!
  • Motivation. Everyone lacks motivation at some time or another, and a prime example is within a gym! People often go to the gym after work, and the last thing on their mind is a tough workout, and having to motivate themselves to really workout efficiently! When training with Mark, every session is an effective, motivated, and enjoyable workout, where you are constantly receiveing my full focus and attention. All I ask is that you give me 100% effort, and you will get your results!
  • Time. Some people do not have the time, the motivation, or the interest in attending a gym to challenge themselves after a day at work. Sessions are booked in advance, and so you have your weeks exercise planned, knowing that each session will be fully productive, and not just another tiresome slog at the gym. I guarantee you will be looking forward to each session, making your working week more enjoyable! Just turn up, smile, be prepared to workout, and I'll do the rest!! I've lost count of how many times my clients have said the following half way through a workout, "If I wasnt booked with you, there's no way I'd be exercising right now, more likely I'd be sat at home in front of the TV!"
